On 29th November 2011, around 30 delegates from museums and galleries came together at the brilliant Jewish Museum London to hear from a range of inspiring speakers, share ideas and best practice and develop their family strategies. FPI talked through the latest research on family trends and future predictions which was followed by a series of bright ideas blasts – short 5 minute talks from the likes of The British Museum, Turner Contemporary and VisitEngland.
The room was bubbling with energy and excitement as participants came up with a list of over 30 bright ideas to take back and put into practice. Mar, Kids in Museums Twitter Manager, was keeping everyone outside the room up to date, and even the Smithsonian in the US tweeted their bright ideas to add to the list.
