Our Business Plan
The Kids in Museums Business Plan 07-10 outlines our vision - that all families should be fully welcomed to Britain’s museums and galleries, and valued as users.
It also commits us to giving a voice to family visitors and potential family visitors. It clearly states our core purpose is to support, influence and drive change in museums and galleries as they work towards wider inclusion for families. It gives us a timetable to work towards these aims and commitments, and projects through which they can be realised.
These include the Mystery Shoppers Programme, the national Take Your Granny day and the annual Guardian Family Friendly Museum Award.
At Kids in Museums, we’re committed to openness and inclusion. We would like to share our 2007-2010 Business Plan with you. Like the Kids in Museums Manifesto, this is a dynamic document, continually being updated and evaluated. We welcome and appreciate your input and comments.
